01 · What I do

Professional experience

I work as a Senior Manager in the Financial Services sector. I manage projects throughout their entire lifecycle:

  • Definition and planning
  • Execution
  • Monitoring and control
  • Closure

I work with both Waterfall and Agile methodologies. In most cases, I adopt a hybrid approach, selecting the methods and tools that make delivery smarter and more efficient.

Demand and change management involve brainstorming and analysis with key users, CIOs, COOs and other stakeholders. My approach is based on continuous improvement and on maintaining a strong connection between business priorities and technology delivery.

Other areas of expertise

  • Data platforms and governance: designing and implementing data platforms to support data governance and manage data throughout its lifecycle.
  • Reporting and analytics: developing reports and executive dashboards with financial, operational and business KPIs to support management and improve decision-making.
  • Machine Learning and Generative AI: building and deploying end-to-end models to improve business operations, automate processes and enable more personalised products and services.

02 · Project experience

Leasing application migration

My most recent major project was the migration of a leasing application, where I worked as Project Coordinator. The project covered several interconnected workstreams:

  1. Data migration
  2. Leasing interfaces
  3. Business requirements analysis
  4. Regulatory compliance
  5. Printer reports
  6. Infrastructure and environments

Why was it challenging?

  • The organisation did not yet have a deeply established project management culture.
  • The banking PMO required close and demanding control of the project plan.
  • The system integration was extensive and complex, involving many external systems.

The project gave me valuable experience. I was particularly proud that the entire project team achieved the planned objectives. It also helped me strengthen areas where I wanted to improve, especially project risk management.

My approach to project risk management

I consider risk management one of the most important disciplines in project delivery. It should be structured and continuous:

  1. Plan risk management
  2. Identify risks
  3. Perform qualitative risk analysis
  4. Perform quantitative risk analysis
  5. Plan risk responses
  6. Monitor and control risks

Sharing risks transparently with all project stakeholders is essential. It creates awareness, encourages ownership and makes it possible to act before risks become issues.

03 · Critical situations

Managing conflict and protecting delivery

When a critical or blocked situation arises, I use a practical four-step approach: Situation, Task, Action and Result.

Situation

  • A serious conflict emerged within the team.
  • Different project workstreams disagreed.
  • Tensions increased and project deadlines were at risk.

Task

  • Resolve the friction.
  • Bring the team back into alignment.
  • Protect the project timeline.

Action

  • I organised private one-to-one meetings.
  • I listened carefully to each person's perspective.
  • I clarified the overall project direction and priorities.
  • I refocused everyone on shared objectives.

Result

  • Team tension decreased quickly.
  • We protected the project schedule.
  • The team regained a shared focus on the expected outcomes.

04 · How I work

Problem-solving capability

Before creating unnecessary pressure or panic, I take time to understand the problem. If a real issue exists, I break the complexity down into smaller, manageable elements.

  • Analyse the situation before reacting.
  • Break complex problems into elementary issues.
  • Set priorities and define the order of resolution.
  • Avoid adding unnecessary complexity or confusion to the process.
  • Identify the best business solution in the shortest reasonable time, with the lowest possible impact.

Throughout the process, I place great importance on maintaining constructive relationships with key users and all project stakeholders.

05 · Leadership

Leadership means empowerment

For me, leadership is about empowering people and creating the conditions in which they can express their potential.

Authenticity

Being genuine, consistent and transparent in decisions and relationships.

Energy and purpose

Inspiring people and helping them discover their own “ikigai”: the purpose that gives meaning to their contribution.

Holistic thinking

Looking beyond vertical or horizontal silos and adopting a circular, interconnected view of the organisation.

Managing paradoxes

Recognising that apparently opposite perspectives can coexist. Leadership is not always about choosing between white and black, but understanding how both can be true at the same time.

06 · Career motivation

Why I am interested in a new opportunity

My main motivation for changing roles is the opportunity to take on a new professional challenge, broaden my experience and contribute to a new environment.

I see "Company name" as an interesting opportunity for three main reasons:

  1. Strong expertise: I believe Fincons has valuable skills and experience, and I could contribute by coordinating and managing complex projects.
  2. Business innovation: I could help introduce new business ideas, particularly in emerging areas such as Data and AI.
  3. Advisory with a digital mindset: I see Fincons as a consulting company with both a strong business perspective and a digital mindset. This combination is very important to me.

07 · Self-awareness

Strengths and development areas

My strengths

  • Flexible, with a practical and balanced approach to problem-solving.
  • Sociable, helping me build positive relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Proactive and willing to take initiative.

Areas I continue to develop

  • I am highly organised and can set demanding standards for myself and others.
  • I am very self-critical and constantly question how I can improve my work.

08 · Technology perspective

AI today and its role in business transformation

Generative AI has accelerated adoption across industries. Companies are moving from experimentation towards the industrialisation and scaling of AI use cases.

AI can automate routine activities, accelerate product development, personalise customer experiences, improve forecasting and decision-making, and create new revenue streams.

Three priorities for the future of AI

1. Democratise AI

AI capabilities should become accessible to a wider range of organisations, professionals and users—not only the largest technology companies.

2. Strengthen regulation and governance

Comprehensive and practical regulation is needed across the AI lifecycle, addressing both producers and organisations that adopt and use AI systems.

3. Make AI more cost-effective

AI should increasingly become a commodity. Reducing costs for both producers and users will be important. This may also involve moving beyond very large models towards smaller, more efficient models with fewer parameters, where appropriate.

Recent developments in China have also highlighted growing interest in open-weight models. In my view, this is an important part of the broader discussion about accessibility, efficiency, competition and innovation.

09 · Beyond work

A little about me

I love travelling and discovering new places, cultures and people. My most recent trip was to Dubai.

I enjoy skiing and I love the mountains, especially when they are covered in snow.

Music is another important part of my life. I enjoy many genres, but jazz is my favourite. One of my favourite musicians is Louis Armstrong.
